Tujhe Bhula Diya : song from Anjaana Anjaani

Sung by the awesome Mohit Chauhan..

The song starts with beautiful punjabi lyrics. A mix of qawwali and pop, acoustic guitars, harmonium and tabla (?). A soft, smooth, feeling with the lovely voices conveying the pathos and sadness of unrequited or disappointed love. The lyrics convey the desolation and loss accompanying the protagonist. and his pain and inability to bear the grief and pain of  disappointment. He says that your memories make me cry. The qawwali lyrics are so beautiful. That everything lies in the hands of God and it is the almighty’s decision. The combination of mysticism, soul, pain, pathos, pop, spiritual feeling in this song makes it takes you to a different plane altogether. Mohit Chauhan’s voice renders homage to love.
