My Friend as My Inner Voice
Day 27 — I have an inner voice, and if a friend spoke to me the way my inner voice does at times, I would…
be resentful, probably a bit angry and try to ignore first..but over time, i would probably accept and welcome the sense in the message conveyed..if that is the message conveyed is truly meaningful and relevant in the first place.

My inner voice can be both kind and harsh at times. Sometimes not very great at judgements. But very supportive. It always guides and comforts me when i feel down. It cautions me when I am tempted to do something foolish. it is always there at the best of times and the worst of times.
Hence, if my friend speaks like my inner voice, I would consider myself very lucky indeed. To have a friend who is as close as possible to me, as I know myself.
I would try to manage my feelings first before I would listen and evaluate what is being conveyed before choosing to act on it..
